Renewi is growing far faster than anticipated. Following the February 2017 merger between the Shanks Group and Van Gansewinkel Groep, the Belgian company achieved the scale and capability to deliver waste management service to about 200 sites in more than nine countries.
However, the ambitious merger and expansion required a rebranding. Despite already operating in Belgium for 50 years, long-time customers and potential prospects would not recognize the new Renewi brand name. Sales reps needed up-to-date documents with not only the new logo and company information, but that reflected the company’s newly expanded mission to reduce waste, avoid pollution, and prevent the unnecessary use of finite natural resources.
It was also an opportunity for the new company to showcase its leadership position in sustainability with the rebrand. An overhaul of Marketing content and delivery strategy was required, including how Sales positioned Renewi’s services.
