The list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of private American companies that have created exceptional workplaces through vibrant cultures, deep employee engagement and stellar benefits. This year, Showpad is one of 346 finalists out of nearly 2,000 submissions collected by Inc.
The strongest engagement scores came from companies that prioritize the most human elements of work, including performance management, employee recognition and diversity. The announcement comes on the heels of strong company growth over the past year. Showpad ended 2018 with 90% year-over-year growth, in addition to growing its North American headquarters in Chicago to more than 120 employees and leading two acquisitions, including the $50 million purchase of sales training and coaching software LearnCore. All companies recognized by Inc. had to have a minimum of 10 employees and must be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent, not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Omaha’s Quantum Workplace, on topics including trust, management effectiveness, perks, and confidence in the future. Inc. gathered, analyzed, and audited the data, then ranked all employers using a composite score of survey results.
