Showpad Named to Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in Europe
Sales and marketing success platform ranks in top 15th percentile of privately held European businesses
GHENT, BELGIUM (March 15, 2018) — Showpad, the world’s most powerful sales and marketing success platform, has been named to the Inc. 5000 list recognizing the fastest-growing private companies in Europe for the second year in a row. Showpad landed the number 528 spot on the prestigious list, with a 986 percent revenue growth from 2013 to 2016.
In its fourth year, Inc. 5000 Europe ranks the fastest-growing, privately held companies in the European continent. Companies are ranked based on percentage growth of their annual revenue over a three-year period and must have generated at least €2 million in revenue in 2016.
Founded in 2011, Showpad bridges the gap between sales and marketing to drive more revenue faster with a better buyer experience, intelligent sales content and impactful analytics. The company’s rapid growth has been fueled by the expansion of its customer base, which includes more than 1,000 companies across the world, an industry-leading rate of retention and a proven ability to scale.
“We’re thrilled to have been ranked so highly in the Inc. 5000 Europe list,” said Pieterjan Bouten, CEO and co-founder of Showpad. “This is another proof point of the global need for a solution that empowers marketing and sales to sell the way buyers want to buy and our ability to capture this market. Our strength in Europe puts us at a significant advantage – not only for attracting new customers in Europe, but for expanding our global customer base, especially among compliance-minded corporations. We view our European headquarters and customer base as a differentiator as we continue to grow in this region and around the world.”
In the past year, Showpad has made several strategic hires across the globe, opened up a North American headquarters in Chicago and crossed the 1,000 customer threshold. Additionally, Showpad recently secured $25 million in additional Series C funding from Insight Venture Partners to continue its global expansion.
“Scaling is one of the hardest things to do well in business,” added Louis Jonckheere, CPO and co-founder of Showpad. “As organizations recognize the growing need for sales and marketing alignment, the space is becoming very competitive. At Showpad, we’ve built a solid foundation with an incredible product and the leadership and tools necessary to execute on our vision and continue scaling. ”
