THE CHALLENGE
Global sales teams weren’t getting the content they needed
Fujifilm’s global sales teams had access to an online content system, but it wasn’t working. New materials were announced via email — and emails got missed. Downloads didn’t happen. Content got lost in the process.
“We used to have an online system, and we would send out emails to notify salespeople about new content,” says Graham Leeson, Head of Communications at Fujifilm. “But salespeople didn’t always see these emails, and they didn’t always download the content.”
The company needed a solution that was powerful and flexible enough to manage a complex organizational structure on the backend — but simple enough that sellers could find what they needed immediately on a tablet.
“Immediacy was the challenge we were trying to solve,” says Leeson.
“We chose Showpad because we needed something incredibly powerful and flexible.”

THE SOLUTION
A powerful backend, a simple frontend — and a new way to sell
Here’s how Leeson describes Fujifilm’s experience with Showpad.
Fujifilm chose Showpad for its ability to balance complexity with simplicity. The backend supports the company’s intricate content structure across business units and regions. The frontend gives sellers instant access on their tablets — no digging, no downloading, no guesswork.
“We chose Showpad because we needed something that was powerful and flexible from a back-end perspective,” says Leeson. “But the front-end needed to be simple, so salespeople could access what they need immediately.”
Beyond content distribution, Fujifilm began building HTML5 applications within Showpad — including an award-nominated app that combined product content with a guided selling approach and built-in ROI tools. The shift moved reps from selling individual products to selling integrated solutions.
“Salespeople can see what their customers are looking at, and that's extremely powerful from a sales perspective.”

THE IMPACT
More efficient reps, more professional presentations, more visibility into buyers
With Showpad in place, Fujifilm’s sales team no longer needs to build their own presentations from scratch. Standard content can be quickly customized for individual customers — making reps feel more proficient, professional, and prepared.
“We’ve made our salespeople more efficient, and reduced the need for them to create their own presentations,” says Leeson. “They can use standard content to create custom presentations for their customers.”
The platform also changed how reps distribute and track content. Video — previously difficult to share — is now sent instantly. And sellers can see exactly what their customers are engaging with.
“Salespeople can see what their customers are looking at,” says Leeson. “And that’s extremely powerful from a sales perspective.”
