Product innovations, a strategic acquisition and industry recognition solidify Showpad as a disruptor in the sales enablement industry

CHICAGO, Sept. 13, 2018 – After record growth in 2017, Showpad, the leading sales enablement platform for modern sellers, has continued this momentum into 2018, demonstrated by the launch of augmented reality capabilities, a major acquisition, the introduction of Showpad’s partner program, and significant company expansion globally and across North America. Showpad projects strong revenue growth in 2018 as a result of increased demand and has recently launched the next generation of its brand identity to reflect its market leadership.

Since opening its North American headquarters in Chicago in late 2017, Showpad has expanded to more than 120 employees, with plans to add at least 50 more to its local roster over the next year. Globally, Showpad employs more than 350 people and is projected to increase its headcount to 420 by the end of 2018. The company has a strong history of rapid growth, seeing close to a thousand percent revenue growth from 2013 to 2016, landing a spot on the 2018 Inc. 5000 list and earning a top five place on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50.

“The success we’ve seen over the last year is a testament to our clear vision for the future of sales enablement and the talented team at Showpad that is making this vision a reality,” said Pieterjan Bouten, CEO of Showpad. “I am so proud of all that we have accomplished so far and am excited to share our new brand identity with the industry as a symbol of the next phase of growth and expansion for Showpad as we grow further in the windy city and around the world.”

Showpad has made significant investments in 2018 to deliver the best buyer experience on the market, most notably through the $50 million acquisition of LearnCore, the leading provider of sales training and coaching software. With LearnCore, Showpad increases sales effectiveness with training and coaching software that empowers sales reps to drive more meaningful conversations and increase sales. Showpad’s platform has been further differentiated through the launch of the first augmented-reality features in the sales enablement industry, enabling salespeople to stand out from competitors through visually engaging, immersive selling experiences.

Demand for a unified sales enablement platform that empowers sales and marketing to more deeply engage the modern buyer has increased Showpad’s customer base to more than 1,200. To support this rapid growth, Showpad has recently rebranded with a new website and logo that reinforces the seamless relationship between sales and marketing.

“Our rebrand reflects our evolution from a sales content solution to an all-in-one sales enablement platform that integrates training and coaching with content solutions for a user experience sales reps love,” said Theresa O’Neil, Vice President of Marketing at Showpad. “It’s an illustration of our position as the most innovative sales enablement platform on the market. In particular, our new logo symbolizes the constant connection between marketing and sales as they work together to improve the buyer experience.”

Showpad’s product innovation has been recognized through several award wins across the sales and marketing industry. Showpad was recognized by CRM Magazine’s 2018 CRM Rising Star Awards, which honor vendors that have launched innovative technologies, forged new alliances, and provided diverse products and services within the CRM industry. Additionally, Showpad was named the Best Overall Sales Tech Company by the Martech Breakthrough Awards and earned a Bronze Stevie Award in the Most Innovative Tech Company Category. Most recently, Showpad was ranked in the top 25 percent of companies on this year’s SaaS 1000 list for its competitive growth, employee expansion and industry-leading product additions.
